Wunderlabel uses a variety of materials for the production of personalized labels to meet the different needs and preferences of its customers. These include cotton, polyester, satin and artificial leather.
Cotton
This natural and very popular material is breathable and skin-friendly. It’s not only used for the production of clothing, but also for personalized labels.
These labels offer a visually appealing as well as functional solution for a variety of products. Wunderlabel prints cotton labels using the flexographic printing process, as it offers the best printing results. To make sure that the printing ink retains its properties for as long as possible, the cotton labels should only be washed in cold water (up to 86°F / 30°C).
Polyester
A durable synthetic fabric that is widely used in the apparel industry, polyester is also ideal for the production of labels. Our woven polyester labels are washable in hot water (up to 194°F / 90°C) and retain their shape and color wash after wash. They are flexible but robust, and the heat cutting method makes sure that the labels don’t fray.
Leather
Renowned for its durability and natural beauty, real leather has been used for centuries to make footwear, bags, sports equipment and clothing. The Wunderlabel leather labels are available in a range of colors and are perfect to give your products a unique and stylish finish. Genuine leather labels are robust and resistant to aging but cannot be washed. Our faux leather tags are a great alternative, combining the same look and feel with washability (up to 86°F / 30°C).
Tyvek
A paper-like material that is used in the construction industry and for PPE, as well as textile labels. It does not fray, is waterproof and chemical resistant. Printed labels made from Tyvek are known to be long-lasting and they are washable at 140 °F/60 °C. The printed design is very good and durable. Wunderlabel prints Tyvek labels using a flexographic printing process.
Satin Polyester
Satin polyester is a satin-like material with lustrous, supple properties.
This material has many applications and is used in the production of clothing, accessories, home textiles and personalized labels.
Wunderlabel uses satin polyester ribbons in the production of personalized labels and prints them using thermal transfer or digital printing. The hot cutting process eliminates fraying. The ink will retain its saturation on satin polyester if the consumer does not wash the labels above 140°F / 60°C. Printed polyester labels must be washed at a slightly lower temperature to prevent the ink from fading.
