The production of custom stickers begins with the selection of the right materials and ends with packaging and shipping. In this article, we would like to share all about the manufacturing process with you. Find out how each step in the process helps to ensure that our custom stickers meet the highest standards.
Choosing the Sticker Material
The first step in the production process is selecting the right material for different types of stickers.
Normal paper (matte): These stickers have a subtle, matte finish that is non-reflective and pleasant to the touch.
Coated paper (glossy): These labels are printed on a polypropylene film that is laminated to release paper. They are waterproof and have a glossy finish that enhances the colors and gives the labels a premium look.
Matt kraft paper: These paper labels are made of sturdy, brown paper with a matte finish that gives products a rustic, natural look.
Kraft paper with white print (matte): This specialty option provides clear, legible labeling on kraft paper with a white background. The white print on the kraft paper makes the label a real eye-catcher.
Digital Printing: Precision and Flexibility
We print our stickers using a digital printing process. This process was developed in the 1990's and has changed the way stickers are produced. The printer receives the artwork directly from the computer. First, the manufacturer places the sheets of paper into the printer. The print head then moves across the paper and places the ink dots precisely to recreate the digital image. Modern printers can work at extremely high resolution.
Advantages of Digital Printing:
High precision: Digital printing enables razor-sharp images and fine details that are difficult to achieve with other printing processes.
Flexibility: Because digital printing requires no plates, designs can be changed quickly and easily, which is especially beneficial for short runs and custom designs.
Variety of colors: Digital printing offers a wide range of colors that look brilliant and vibrant on stickers.
Cutting the Stickers
Die-cut stickers are cut using a sharp metal die or laser that precisely trims the sticker material into custom shapes by following the design outline. Kiss-cut stickers are cut through the top sticker layer without cutting through the backing, leaving the surrounding paper intact. Our sticky labels are available in a range of sizes and shapes (rectangular, square or round) and delivered on sheets.
Quality Control
Before the stickers leave the factory, they undergo careful quality control. Each sticker is checked for print quality, color accuracy and precise cut edges. We only ship stickers that meet our high standards. This control ensures that our customers always receive first-class products.
Packaging and Shipping
After quality control, we carefully package the stickers to protect them from damage. Our fulfillment team assures that each order is securely and neatly boxed. We then ship the stickers to our customers.
Thanks to advanced digital printing, companies can now produce high-resolution, custom-designed stickers quickly and efficiently. This advancement is an important milestone in the history of stickers. It makes it easy to produce creative and unique designs with a professional look.
