The Production of Event Wristbands

The Production of Event Wristbands

The production of event wristbands involves several careful steps, from material selection to packaging. Wunderlabel offers high quality festival wristbands in two versions: woven and printed wristbands. In this article we will take a closer look at how these cloth wristbands are made.

Product and Material Selection

There are two types of event wristbands, both are made from high quality materials:
●  Woven Wristbands for events: These wristbands are made of 100% woven recycled polyester. They are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. This eco-friendly alternative is durable and comfortable to wear.
●  Printed Wristbands for events: Our printed wristbands are made of 100% satin polyester, a high-quality material with a smooth, shiny finish.

Production Process

●      Woven Event Wristbands:

- Weaving process: First, the manufacturer stretches the yarns on modern looms. The pattern of the ribbon is created by precisely guiding the threads over and under each other. The looms are set up to produce detailed patterns and lettering with the utmost precision.

- Taffeta Finish: The taffeta effect of the woven wristband created by a special weaving technique in which the loom weaves the threads very tightly and finely. This dense weave gives the fabric a smooth, slightly shiny surface that is soft to the touch and resists fraying.
- Cutting: After weaving, the material is cut into its final ribbon shape in a cutting machine. This is done with precise cutting tools so that each wristband is exactly the same size and shape.
●      Printed Event Wristbands:
- Preparation for printing: The printed event wristband production process begins with the transfer of the design to the material. The selected design is digitally adjusted by the manufacturer to prepare it for printing.
- Digital Printing: In the next step, the design is applied to the satin polyester material using digital printing. This process allows for high color accuracy and attention to detail and is particularly suitable for complex patterns and color gradients. The inks are UV resistant and will not fade even in intense sunlight.
- Sealing and cutting: After printing, the manufacturer seals the lanyard material to protect the print from abrasion and increase durability. A cutter then cuts the lanyard into the desired shape and size.

Closures for Event Wristbands

In addition to festival lanyards, we also offer a variety of fasteners.
●  Plastic Caps: These closures are lightweight, durable, and available in a variety of colors. They provide a secure fit and cannot be undone once applied.
●  Metal Fasteners: For a more robust and durable option, we also offer metal fasteners. These are extra strong and give the event wristband a premium look.

Quality Control

After production, each wristband for events goes through a thorough quality control process. We check the weaving and printing quality, the color accuracy and the stability of the clasps to ensure that every festival wristband meets Wunderlabel's high standards.

Packing and shipping

After quality control, we carefully package the event wristbands with the closures. We make sure that the wristbands are well protected during transport and arrive in perfect condition. Our environmentally friendly packaging materials underscore our commitment to sustainability.
