Advantages of Cotton Fabric Labels:

Good dyeability: Color remains on the fabric for a long time because it penetrates the structure of the fabric and becomes inseparable from it. 

Disadvantages of Natural Cotton Labels:

Discoloration: Although the off white or natural cotton background is not likely to change color, the ink can fade with frequent washing or exposure to strong sunlight.
Shrinkage: Can shrink if not handled properly.
Care: May require more care to maintain its shape and color, especially with frequent washing. 
Fraying: Cut edges are unfinished and may fray because a natural material cannot be cut with heat and sealed. We recommend folding the cut edges (end fold) Your before sewing. 

A good alternative is imitation cotton. This fabric is made of 100% polyester, but looks like the real deal. There is no need for end folds as the material does not fray. 

What Material Do We Use?

Wunderlabel uses 100% natural soft cotton with a smooth flat weave. Brilliant flexographic printing with its vivid colors is used in the production process. We use OEKO-TEX® certified inks.

How to Design Cotton Labels for Your Brand & Handmade Items

It's easy to design your own labels for knitting, crochet or sewing projects. Our online design tool guides you step-by-step through the design process. Choose the size, the print color, and enter your text in the font of your choice. You can embellish your label with up to four symbols. The process is easy, fun, and the design possibilities are endless.

Select "Cotton Labels with Text & Symbol" from the main menu to go to the configurator page and start creating your unique design.

• Select the size from the LABEL tab. There are nine different sizes to choose from.

• The next step is the COLOR tab. We use a flexographic printing method to achieve vibrant colors. Choose the right color in this step. 

• The TEXT tab allows you to add up to three lines of your own text. Choose your font, change the size, and use the tools to drag the text to the right place.

• In the FRAME tab you can choose a suitable frame.

• The last step is SYMBOL. You can choose up to four symbols to decorate your label. Use the tools to place them where you want them. You can enlarge or rotate them to create the perfect design. 

• Finally, select the quantity for your order and add the product to your cart. From there, you can proceed with the checkout process. It's that easy!

Yes, they are!  The material is environmentally friendly, sustainable, renewable and biodegradable.

Wunderlabel finishes these types of custom fabric labels with environmentally friendly water-based ink. It is free of harmful substances, has ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® certification and complies with Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX® Product Class I.

We use the flexographic printing process: For each order, we create rubber printing plates (stencils) with the customer's design. This method guarantees vivid colors and precise printing that, with proper care, will not fade or rub off.
