Something handmade is the very best gift to spoil your mum on Mother's Day! You don't have to be an expert sewer to make the thoughtful little present that we have come up with for our tutorial. And if you are on a budget, it's not going to break the bank either.
All you need for making a pen holder is some felt, a wide elastic ribbon and thread. The finished pen holder can then be slipped onto mum's favourite notebook. Whether you include the book and pen to your present is completely up to you! If you do fancy spending a bit more on this unique Mother's Day present, why not also add a personalised leather name label and a custom hang tag?
