Each label design is laser engraved and cut. The color of the engraved text is dependent on the base color of the material being used which ranges from light brown to black. Depending on the label size chosen, up to 4 lines of text can be displayed along with a symbol. Laser cut holes can also be applied to help with attaching the labels to finished products. Please note: leather hang tags are only available with 1 hole for hanging.
Leather for Hang Tags This 100% genuine cowhide leather is thicker than the leather used for our leather labels. It is robust and the perfect thickness (ranging from 2-2.2 mm) to be used for hang tags. Due to leather being a natural material, the thickness and color of the leather can vary slightly. The leather for Hang Tags cannot be folded. Leather Our Leather Labels are made of 100% genuine cowhide (aside from the color orange which is goat hide). The leather surface is smooth and has a matte sheen. Due to leather being a natural material, the thickness and color of the labels can vary slightly. Faux Leather Our Faux Leather Labels are made of PU leather which is durable and flexible. It has the look and feel of real leather. WunderPap WunderPap is a washable paper material which has a leather-like appearance. It is often used for labeling jeans.

Leather Genuine leather labels are not washable. Faux Leather Faux leather labels can be safely washed in cool water up to 86°F / 30°C WunderPap WunderPap labels can be safely washed in warm water up to 140°F / 60°C

Leather Labels - The Popular ChoiceWunderlabel leather labels are available in both genuine leather, PU leather also known as Faux Leather and WunderPap - a washable paper which looks like leather. Each label design created is engraved onto the surface of the leather using precise laser technology. This leather engraving technique creates an etched effect with your design and the engraved text color is determined by the base color of your label. The result is gorgeously engraved text which ranges from light golden brown to black. Each label is individually cut around the parameter along with holes which can be added in the corners to help with attaching - all done with precision using a computer-controlled laser. Our WunderPap labels are often used for labeling denim items. This washable paper looks like leather and becomes even more soft over time. It’s no wonder that this leather-look paper is a customer favorite. From dainty Rouge Pink to rugged Dark Brown, our leather labels can create a feeling of refined elegance or rustic toughness. Flexible and soft, they are used for a variety of applications and are definitely a customer favorite!
