There are several methods to ensure a secure application. For woven labels, sewing by hand or machine along the edges is the most common and durable method. This ensures that they stay firmly in place and can withstand repeated washing and wear. Folded labels can be worked into seams or wrapped around the hem and sleeves of garments. Alternatively, iron-on labels can easily be applied with a household iron or a heat press.

Printed tags can also be sewn on or in using the same methods as above. However, they are not available with folding. Be aware that cotton labels need to be folded over on the cut sides to prevent fraying. Unlike the polyester version they cannot be heat cut and therefore require this extra step.
